Hey Family, 

I know firsthand that we can go through times when it’s easy to forget or take for granted the many wonderful gifts that God has given to us. During the Apostle Paul’s day (just like nowadays), the world desperately needed hope; our Lord Jesus Christ commissioned Paul, and you, to take His message, the gift of salvation by faith in Him, to the whole world. “Now get to your feet! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. Tell people that you have seen me and tell them what I will show you in the future. to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.” Acts 26:16 & 18 NLT As believers, our eyes have been opened to see the world from God’s perspective a little better. His Light shines on us out of the darkness.  The Satan no longer has power over us, but we now have access to power over the Satan; the power of Elohim, that is God almighty, is available in our lives from the very moment we place our faith in Christ Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit. Oh yeah, and our sins are forgiven completely. We all have a place in God’s family and will never be alone. We are set apart and chosen to a life of destiny and a relationship with the King of Kings. All of this comes the moment we place our faith in Christ. Every year on July Fourth, we celebrate the freedom and independence of the country. Every day, however, we get to celebrate our freedom and new life in Christ and our independence from sin, the Satan, darkness, and hopelessness!
