Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

 

So often it can be easy for us to lose sight of just how important what we do with our lives is.  It’s easy for us to become discouraged as we follow the LORD with so many other obligations and pressures in our lives.

Many times, we can ask ourselves if what we do each day really matters?  Well, if what we are doing is for the LORD, the answer is yes, it really matters!  God Wants you and me to Be steadfast in serving Him, He wants us to be immovable against the pressures and obligations and temptations that draw us away from excelling in the LORD’s work.  God wants you and I to know that He notices everything we do for Him, even when others may not acknowledge those efforts; there is nothing that you or I can do for the LORD that is ever in vain.  My encouragement to you is to ‘keep up the good work’!

So, stay faithful focused on doing the work of the kingdom, having another steadfast and immovable day serving the lord!
